WebCards experience

I recently ordered 500 WebCards from The Stroke of Genuis site that had a linkup with www.printing.com. Their site was informative, friendly, had lots of samples to look at, with easy instructions and cute testimonials that were fun to read.

They downloaded my home page and added the text I wrote with little direction past the initial layout. After posting my cards on a site for me to check, I emailed my approval and they went to printing. In January they also had a 250 extra card bonus for free.It was all for very reasonable charge of $154. With 750 cards it works out to $.20 each. They also do fold-over cards and business cards.

The next step, is a play out of Gordon Wetmores book. In addition to my regular mailing list, I am sending them to all the folks that appear on the site, along with ten stamped cards for them to forward to friends and relatives.

This business to business site worked for me.
Thanks for the link Cynthia.

RE: WebCards experience

I have never heard of this. Are these like postcards for promotion of your art like Modern Postcard offers? Thanks, Connie, pro 12 yrs.

If you go to my Biz & Resource Center at my site at www.portraitartist.com/resources/index.html you will see a link to them on that page in the top left. They take a screen shot of your home page and make postcards from it.

Stroke of Genius artist Nancy Kochenower reports she was unhappy with her cards. However, they did refund her money.

Web Cards

I also had a very good experience with Web Cards. I ordered the business cards and post cards. They pulled the image right off of my web site. I was nervous about how the skin tones would print, but they were really on target color-wise. Also, I think the overall quality is superior to Modern Postcard.
