Ventilation

I'm wondering if the fresh air return on a heat pump system would provide adequate ventilation in a studio.

Every room is different....call a heating, ventilating and air conditioning contractor in your area. He can tell you if that will give you the required air changes necessary when using volatile chemicals in an enclosed space.

Debra,
Please take Karin's advice. Otherwise you may run the risk of circulating harmful vapors from your studio to other parts of your home/studio.

Thank you Karin and Jim, I will certainly check into it before we build. We're in the process of drawing plans for our next home and I thought it would be good to have the ventilation taken care of as part of the building process rather than an afterthought.
