Wow, Jummy those late nighters that you pull have paid off in a great way.
Your drawing is not only inspiring but you have managed to bring a unique quality to the fore and you have raised the bar to all draughtsmanship lovers, students and admirers. You also have managed to show the beauty of the pencil. Well Done!

You guys are too good to me.
It'll be nice to win some more competitions with big 'cash' prizes. i won a watercolor set in Jersey, but I have no intentions on using them. They're kinda expensive, so I may hold them until my daughter gets older, if she decides to take art seriously. Maybe I could just sell them.
Anyway, the late nights are taking their toll also. I'm always tired now, but if I don't work at night, I'll never get anything done. I wonder how much the MegaMillions is this week?
I gotta practice the bragging (business) thing. My wife tells me all the time that I have a problem with self-confidence.
Thanks again.

Peggy Baumgaertner's advice in this area is excellent: "Fake It 'Til You Make It!" Meaning, when you have an opportunity to talk to people about your work, fake some confidence and one day you'll wake up and really have it!

That's a good one! I could always try.
Thanks Alicia, the noises you hear are not my prices, it's my head banging against the wall.

kathryn in person
Jimmie visited me yesterday and shared his pristine original kathryn for me to see. While this looks absolutely stunning online, I must say I was disapointed. It's just that it was such a shame Jimmie would not let me keep her to shine down from my studio walls! If there was ever an argument to support seeing original art in galleries and museums, kathryn is a great example. She is worth every one of the hundred thousand pennies she was awarded! And more! There is nothing better than viewing the original. I consider myself very fortunate despite my disapointment.
Jimmie, it was great to meet you! You and kathryn can visit anytime.
