For many a year have I viewed Sargent's "El Jeleo" and though much on the fact of so many figures. I guess this is my take of "El Jeleo". My version is not as dramatic as his (when my wife saw JSS version she did not care much for it but she likes my version a lot) but... Yes, some things distract from the main subject, I know. I like the feeling of involvement, the other figure, and space, the bench with candle in bottle and jug.
