The oldest I have done is my sister-in-law who is 36, although she doesn't look it. I would like to do older women, but none have accepted my offer. The usual explanation is that they have children or professional reasons. If they say they will do it, they never get back to me. The majority of our clients are 18-25 women. The women in their forties, are just getting divorced and are getting tattoos for liberation. I try to explain how posing for art could be a liberating experience, but no takers.
Ofcourse, if
you are in your forties, and happen to be with your son when he gets tattooed, you can sit for me. And you're gonna have to because you brought it up!
If anyone reading this in their forties is thinking "I sure would like to help Jimmie with his portfolio, maybe I can send him a very clear non-formal picture of myself to him, but in no way expect payment as I would do this for art's sake." Then that would be nice too.
I am very flattered that you both have included my work in your collection. Am turning red as we speak.

It wasn't taken in a negative way. I have to play with the picture a bit before uploading. I play with color, saturation, contrast, and sharpness before I can send them up. As a matter of fact, I played with 'hacel' some more and finally got what I consider to be the most accurate pic which is on my site. I'm working with a digital camera, and have rarely gotten accurate color when using indoors. It has settings for fine, incandescent, flourescent etc..., but nothing is perfect. I've gotten better recently with Photoshop, so the colors are closer to the original than before.
