That would make a good dust-free place to let paintings dry as well - great idea. I may have to steal this.

Wow! This is great...
1) Where did you get these grids and the feet? Are they something I can pick up at a Home Depot? How much did they cost?
2) Is that a shelf I see in the middle? Did you just put up plywood on top of the pre-cut strips?
This might be perfect for me, because I have no where to put my finished work/canvases waiting for paint AND I have been wondering if there is anything affordable to use if I do an outdoor show.

Thanks Kim and Lacey -
I've never seen these grids at Home Depot. I got mine online, which I wouldn't recommend unless you have to do it that way, because of shipping costs. Suppliers to retail stores sell them - I've also seen them advertised on ebay. I can't remember how much they cost any more - I've had them a few years now.
My mid-rack support happens to be extra pieces of foam board and a cardboard portfolio. Anything firm ought to work okay. I just laid them on top of the wood strips.
When I used them in a show, to make them look nicer, I covered them with a fabric drape.

Grid Supplier
Here's a link to the supplier I used. They currently have a 10% off coupon available (if you email them, I'm sure they'll send it to you). The only caveat I would offer is about shipping - get in writing how much the shipping will be, so you are not surprised.
