I, too, will be happy to participate, but I thought I'd mention that I have been actively engaged in a project to paint, free for mothers, the fallen soldiers from my home state of Nebraska.

My portraits are done from resource material provided by the family. They are usually 16X20 -- large enough to be seen, but not so large that they take such a long time to paint.

So far, I have done four paintings, and have three in the works. A Nebraska magazine and several newspapers have aided my search for surviving families by doing stories on completed and presented paintings. Families are truly appreciative of this effort. I get letters from them that really are better than money.

I'll contact the TX guy and see what I can do.
