Linda,
It's always tough to use reference photos provided by the client, but I would say you have succeeded admirably in pulling this together. I love the children's expressions, and the feeling of light and hot sun.

Lovely brushwork here, Linda, and a gentle feeling of warm sun. Those strokes really dance around and give us a feeling of breeze and atmosphere. The concept of children building a sandcastle together is charming and natural (and sure beats my own family's hobby, burying somebody up to their neck in sand. Not really a winsome visual.).
Nice work, Linda!

Linda,
I like this painting for all the previously mentioned things and for the circular composition. When children grow up, they often loose this closeness they once had and your painting will serve them as a nice reminder how they all got along and where able to enjoy each others company.
